Flavors of Zanzibar – Traditional Swahili Food Tour during Ramadan
Join us for iftar dinner meal on the best bang for your buck food tour! You will get to sample food specialties from the island. This tour brings for you most authentic traditional Swahili meals over a multi course dinner walk. As we visit historical sites, we will also understand about the Holy Month of Ramadan in Zanzibar. We will weave through the Spice Souk where you can smell the beautiful aromas of different spices. We would then move to Palace Museum as you take pristine photos with stunning views of Stone Town.

What can you expect?
As we visit historical sites, we will also understand about the Holy Month of Ramadan. We will weave through the Spice market of Darajani where you can smell the beautiful aromas of different spices. We would then move to our next stop as you enjoy seafood with stunning views of Stone Town. You will be on the other side of the city where you will walk through Forodhani Night Fish Market for your next stop.
Enjoy your starters like traditional porridge, seafood soup, masala chai and samosa with a beautiful view of the Creek. Our guide will tell you more about local spice market, the Swahili culture and you can also stop at a local shop. We move on to our next stop for the day. It is time for our main course! Enjoy traditional Iftar and much more! We will then walk to the historical neighborhood of Hurumzi streets for our last stop of the day. Make sure you arrive hungry!
